Founded in 2024 in Johannesburg, Origami EV Connect emerged from a simple observation: charge point operators needed better tools. While the EV market was growing rapidly, the software to manage charging infrastructure was either too complex, too expensive, or simply not designed for African markets.
Our founding team combined expertise in software engineering, electric vehicle technology, and the unique challenges of South African infrastructure. We set out to build a platform that would meet international standards while addressing local realities.
